I am sometimes guilty of taking our array of food options for granted. Especially when it comes to the availability of organic foods, sustainable seafood and just plain 1-stop shopping for a (mostly) vegetarian family. Which is why I love Whole Foods, even though it can be so darned expensive.

Today is Earth Day. More than anytime in our lives, the businesses in our lives are becoming eco-friendly, touting all-natural and selling us Green products.

* Force the chain’s suppliers to meet stricter ethical standards.
* [...]

As I’ve mentioned earlier, we’ve started a Green Team at my office. The purpose is to become more environmentally responsible by reducing waste, encourage simple changes like carpooling and using your own mug instead of grabbing for a paper cup.
All straightforward ideas for me, and most likely anyone who is reading this.
I was completely encouraged [...]

According to a recent article in the San Francisco Chronicle, US businesses are not getting high marks for going green. There is a challenge and certainly a benefit to implementing eco-friendly changes, but so far we’re falling short:
Despite the increased hype about companies going green, American business isn’t making much of a dent in major [...]

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is where companies come to tout The Next Thing of The Year. The bigger players tend to launch products or clarify direction. Last year’s show was dominted by Apple’s iPhone announcement. This year’s show in Las Vegas was dominated by talk about green technology.
But was there anything but that? According [...]
