Planet Green Leaving Beta

There is a recent post on PlanetGreen.com about a significant change coming up:
Planet Green is about to remove the word “beta” from our header and launch a new site with a whole slew of new features to create an exciting interactive experience. We’re about to migrate the current site to a new social media platform called Pluck. The new platform will add all sorts of possibilities including forums, profiles, user blogs, photo galleries, better commenting and much more. We are very excited about this move and when you register on the new Planet Green, it will also give you access to the entire Discovery family of sites and communities.
With their channel due to launch sometime this year (initial projections were “early 2008″, and it has not been changed to just “2008″), this is an exciting move.
But for some reason, the Community Liaison who posted this, postdated their entry to April 19th. According to my calendar, it’s still April 16th today. Hmmm…
No matter, I’m excited to see these changes and the debut of their channel.
