Ryan Sutter, Bachelor dude, is Green

Embarassingly enough, I was reminded last night that Ryan Sutter, a former contestant on ABC’s The Bachelor, is a Green proponent.

Reminded because my wife found “The Bachelor: Where Are They Now?” on TV last night. I was falling asleep reading in my chair as she watched, so I didn’t get the full “effect” of the show.

I did overhear that Ryan Sutter is a “Green” (technically, LEED certified) architect, and now seems to be building green homes in Colorado.

Sutter has been part of the EcoZone Project’s Green Team, a TV show which now seems to be on hiatus.

The EcoZone site also references Sutter’s involvement with MixedMarkets. The site is a shopping portal that allows you to give to charity by purchasing through one of the sites within their network:

By simply clicking on one of the retail links from the Mixed Market shopping page and making a purchase at that store a portion of the purchase price will go towards funding a charitable organization.

Hard to make fun of a guy who is trying do something good, being Green. I think the association with a show like the Bachelor is the funny part.

At least to me!
