About a month back, I posted the 12 Most Important Organic Foods. So, it looks like my list isn’t too far off of this, the definitive, list of risky to safe fruits and veggies:
beef
milk
coffee
strawberries (#6th worst)
apples (#2nd worst)
peaches (the worst!)
bell peppers (#3rd worst)
celery (#4th worst)
lettuces (#8th worst)
grapes (#9th worst)
potatoes (#12th worst)
tomatoes (#29th worst)
I’ll say it again: eat organic, and you should have less worry about these splits!

I’m not surprised that apples is on the list. A few years ago, I went to a farmer’s day celebration. They were passing out apples. I remember getting so sick to my stomach after eating it. It had to be the apple that bothered because that was all I ate. Obviously, they hadn’t washed them before passing them out. Ever since that day, I’ve been very careful about washing fruits and vegetables.
